Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONARD (LEN) JAMES HAUGHEY July 4, 1926 - August 24, 2007 Len spent two years in RCNVR, 1944 to 1945, overseas on board The La Hulloise. He retired from Air Canada in 1989 after 25 years of service. He was a life member and past president of the Norwood St. Boniface Legion and was very proud to be a member of the M.P.G.A. and C.P.G.A. for 30 years. Survived by his sister Marie McMillan of Vancouver; his two sons, Randy and Norman (Karen); and his wife Lee Russell. Len will be remembered by his friends as a loyal, trustworthy man. Len never shirked responsibility; he always did his best. He was fiercely proud of his sons, thrilled with his grandson Nicholas, and really happy to hear that he would also have a granddaughter in February. He was looking forward to seeing her. For many of his years as M.P.G.A. member, Len volunteered Junior golf lessons every Saturday at Golfland. He loved teaching his passion, golf. Once again, thank you to John Hague, formerly of Golfland, for providing Len with a place to teach. Len would also like to thank all the members of the Niakwa Country Club, the Assiniboine Golf Club, Bel Acres and the Wildewood Club where he spent many years as Marshall, Starter and Head Pro. He loved you all. By Len's decision, no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
