SALVATORE CACI December 11, 1952 - August 21, 2007 Peacefully on August 21, 2007, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Salvatore (Sam) Caci passed away surrounded by his family at the age of 54 years. Salvatore is survived by his wife Darlene, daughter Melissa (Brad Marshall), beloved grandson Salvatore, daughter Michelle (Travis Ortega), mother Assunta Caci, brother Calogero (John) Caci (Rose St. Laurent), nieces Bianca and Isabella, nephews Christopher and Vincenzo, brother Luigi (Lou) Caci (Anita) and niece Leontina (Lilly), mother-in-law Pearl Linklater, sister-in-law Joanne Scarola (Vito), nieces Vanessa and Alexandra, brother-in-law Dale Linklater (Karen), nephews Logan and Kienan, niece Ellah, brother-in-law Ken Carruthers, nieces Jessica and Rebecca, brother-in-law Larry Linklater (Merle), nephew James, brother-in-law Greg Linklater, Zio Rosario Zammito (Francesca), cousins Pina and Franca, Zio Giuseppe Caci (Caterina) and family. Sam was predeceased by his father Vincenzo (June 2005) and sister-in-law Debbie Carruthers (November 2002). Salvatore was born in Aragona, Sicily, on December 11, 1952, and immigrated to Canada in 1965. Sam's love of life was exemplified through touching family, friends and clients. He was truly passionate in his profession for the last 35 years as a hair stylist and owner of Puressence Spa Salon. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, August 27, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Viewing will held one hour prior to the service. Entombment will take place following the service at Holy Angel Mausoleum in Green Acres Cemetery located on #1 Hwy. East on Navin Road. Our family wishes to sincerely thank the doctors and nurses at Manitoba CancerCare and St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care for their incredible care and compassion for my husband Salvatore.
