SAMANTHA GAIL ZEEMEL Samantha Gail Zeemel, sadly on August 19, 2007, was suddenly taken away from us at the age of 20. Samantha will be sadly and dearly missed by her mother Heather Lavallee (Parch), sister Kaitlin-Zoe Zeemel, Percy Zeemel (Dad), and Don Lavallee (stepfather). Also left behind to mourn are Gramma and Grampa Marchant, her best friend Brittney Hupe, stepsister Becky Zeemel, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous other family members and friends. Samberlyn (nickname) was very shy in school from grades 1 to 6. She was involved in poetry, art and sports. In junior high she was Valedictorian in grade 6, and moved on to Salisbury Morse Place School, where she continued being active in her sports, with curling and soccer being her favourite. With many friends from junior high, they then moved on to the Kildonan East Collegiate, where she graduated and ended with her hairstyling and psychology. Finding her path in life, Sam was always going onward in her studies in psychology, medical administration and inner city programs to deal with less fortunate kids. Sam was always trying to make a difference in others' lives. Often times you could find Sam helping children and the less fortunate by giving them toys, freezies, water guns, and clothing. Sam was happy she made a difference in the world. Anyone that knew Sam could relate to her persona, the company of her charming character and her various, many faces of her changing diva ways. Samberlyn loved animals, camping, and fishing. She was a loud, sensitive, generous and loving person who enjoyed listening to music, dancing to her favourite tunes, and clubbing with her friends - whom she loved spending time with and created many unforgettable memories. She loved her little sister and her dogs. Sam was the type of person to wear her heart on her sleeve, with her dog, Diesel, always by her side. A Celebration of Sammy's life will be held on Tuesday, August 28 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sam's name can be made to the inner city programs for youth. Special thanks to Nellie Guy and Le-Ann Mekish, CAA Manitoba Motor League, Alana Stewart, Chaplain Gerry Boutin, Chief Carter, and our family and friends for your support during this time of sadness. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM FAMILY OWNED OPERATED 220 Hespeler Ave. @ Henderson Hwy. 668-3151
