ARLENE GAIL WILLSON (WRIGHT) Arlene Gail Willson passed away quietly at St. Joseph's Hospital on August 23, 2007. She was born on September 30, 1938. Arlene worked as a Registered Nurse at the Winnipeg General Hospital, Brandon Psychiatric Hospital and later settled in Thunder Bay and worked for many years at McKellar General Hospital and retired from Hogarth Westmount Hospital. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother with a great passion as a caregiver. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking, gardening and reading. She was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi. Survived by husband Dick Willson; daughter Lynn Brigden (Mark) and sons, Craig (Michele), James (Sherri) and David (Lori); grandchildren, Shannon, Kristen, Jacqueline, Brandon, Christopher, Evan, Emily and Carter. Funeral services for Mrs. Arlene Willson will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A private interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A special thank you to Dr. Habjan, the staff of the emergency department at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, the nursing staff at St. Joseph's Hospital and the nursing staff at Comcare Health Services.
