RAYMOND (RAY) PETER YAKICHUK Peacefully, on Thursday, August 23, 2007, after a lengthy illness, Ray died at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 60 years. Our much loved Ray will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Trish; son, Tyler and faithful companion Roxie. Also to treasure his memory are his mother Laura; sisters Donna Vernon (Bob) and Eileen Barnes (Graham); sisterinlaw Carol Young; motherin-law Daisy Stroyney; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Peter; sister Myrtle Ann; and fatherinlaw Peter. Working for Manitoba Hydro for 36 years, Ray enjoyed his time there. He was much respected and made many lasting friendships. Ray will remain alive in the happy memories of his family and friends. A celebration of Ray's life will be held on Wednesday, August 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Astoria Hotel, 2935 Pembina Highway. Special thanks to Shawn West, Dr. Ralph Wong and Dr. Richard Green for their care and consideration.
