KAREN LYNN LAMB Peacefully, on Thursday, August 23, 2007, Karen Lynn Lamb, age 50, was taken by angels to be reunited with her parents, Frederick and Doreen Walton. Karen was a very caring person who had a heart of gold. She lived for her children and was always there to lend a helping hand or listen in times of need. Karen was a very dedicated, passionate person who enjoyed gardening, cooking up fabulous meals, being around family and friends, and living life to the fullest. She will be sadly missed by her husband Phil; sons, Christopher and Michael (wife Lorraine); granddaughters, Roselyn and Ainsley; brother Frederick (wife Teresa and son Aaron); sister Donna (Jesse). Karen will also be missed by her many friends and coworkers. Karen was an angel on earth and will be truly missed. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with The Ven. Norman Collier officiating. An interment service will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow at 100 Inglenook Road, Headingley, MB. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald, Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
