HELEN BERGMANN (nee DRIEDGER) With deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. On Saturday, August 25, 2007, at the age of 96, Mom entered the gates of heaven to be with her Lord and Savior. Helen is lovingly remembered by four daughters, Margaret (Jim) Funk; Hilda (Dave) Hiebert; Irma (Bill) Buhler; Nora (Abe) Giesbrecht; and one son Ed (Marilyn) Bergman, all of Winnipeg. Grandma was cherished by her seven grandchildren, Bruce Hiebert (of Toronto); Connie (Barry) Kasdorf; Cindy (John) Connolly; Jennifer (Todd) Reimer; Duane (Marcia) Funk; Michelle (James) Samanta; Christy (Andrew) Chan, all of Winnipeg. Grandma couldn't have been prouder of her seven great-granddaughters and one great-grandson, Laura and Sarah Kasdorf; Tara and Jessica Connolly; Alexandra and Victoria Funk; Rachel Samanta and Micah Chan. Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank after 58 years of marriage; three sisters and two brothers; and one granddaughter in infancy. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Gospel Church, 755 St. Anne's Road, Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Sunday School Mission, information available at the church. Private family interment prior to service.
