URBAIN PERRON After 91 years Urbain Perron is now at rest with the Lord. It is with sad hearts that we mourn his passing on Saturday, August 25, 2007, at Misericordia Health Centre in Winnipeg. Urbain was predeceased by his beloved wife Rose-Marie (née Marcoux), his brother Gérard, and sisters Irène, Marguerite, and Lorraine. He is survived by his sisters Thérèse and Yvonne, brothers Léon (Thérèse), and Henri. A man who lived for his family, he leaves to cherish his children Yvette (Walfried), Denise (Edward), Marcel (Ginette), Rita (Edward), Liliane (Lorne), Louise (Michael), Gisèle, Joceline (Manuel), Georges (Dale); his 23 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Misericordia Health Centre, Cedar Grove fifth floor, and St. Boniface General Hospital for taking good care of Dad during his stay. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 rue DesMeurons, Winnipeg. The funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, August 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Ste. Adolphe Roman Catholic Church, presided by l'Abbé Gérald Michaud and Mgr. Henri Perron. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Urbain's memory to Les missionaires d'Afrique, 228 rue Hamel, Winnipeg, MB R2H 3B4 (Tel. (204) 237-4098).
