Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOUISE MARIE AUDETTE On August 26, 2007 at Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, Manitoba, Louise Marie Audette beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away at the age of 82 years. Besides her husband Gerry, she is survived by her daughters: Denise (Paul) of Dryden, Diane (Ross) of Vancouver, Claire of Vancouver and Therese of Winnipeg; son Robert (Judy) of Winnipeg and grandchildren, Yvette, Robert, Carmelle, Daniel, Aileen and Anna. She was predeceased by sister Eleanor (also known as Jerry), sister Kathleen (also known as Cookie) and brother Fred (also known as Sunny Boy). Louise was born November 1, 1924 in Lebret, Saskatchewan, eldest daughter of John William and Clara Kelly. Louise met Gerry while they both worked at the Oblate Fathers Scholasticat in Lebret and married in the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church across the lake. They then moved to Winnipeg to raise their family. Apart from raising her children, Louise loved to volunteer at Precieux Sang Parish and St. Amant Hospital. She worked as a nurse's aide in St. Boniface Hospital, in the bakery at Eaton's and later sold Avon products, which she loved to collect and give as gifts. Louise enjoyed travelling and camping with Gerry but her heart was always in the Qu'Appelle Valley. She could read clouds better than any weatherman or name any bird by its song. Her family remembers many dinners with her pies and best of all, homemade soups. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all staff, who made her final years at Villa Youville peaceful and comfortable. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Paroisse Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens, 289 Dussault Ave., with visitation starting at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
