BELOT (nee Matiowsky) April 29, 1944 - August 26, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Vivian Belot, on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at the Ste. Anne's Hospital, Ste. Anne, MB. Vivian will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband of 43 years, Roger; son Cory (Melody) and their children, Ryan, Reece, and Rayne; daughter-in-law Sherri and her children Korbin and Kadin; her sister Gaylene (Mick) Lazar, and brother Brian (Judy) Matiowsky, sister-in-law Roberta Snowaert, brother-in-law Maurice (Dolores) Belot, mother-in-law Stella Belot as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Vivian is now reunited in heaven with her son Brad, who predeceased her in October of 2006. Vivian was born in Shoal Lake, MB on April 29, 1944 to Jean and Walter Matiowsky. It was in Shoal Lake where she attended school, received her nursing degree and met the love of her life Roger who she married on June 20, 1964. After their wedding Vivian and Roger moved to the farm in Prairie Grove, MB, where they started their life together and raised their children. In 1980 the family moved to Ile-des-Chênes, where she worked as a school bus driver for 25 years with the Seine River School Division. Family was everything to Vivian, she loved to spend as much time as possible with her children and grandchildren, sharing many special moments with them. She took great pride in her home and garden, she loved playing cards, and spending time with friends at Catherine Lake, ON and spending time with Roger. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 30 at 2:00 p.m. in the Notre-Dame-de-la-Miséricorde Church in Ile-des-Chênes, MB. Vivian will be laid to rest next to her son Bradley in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made to the Notre-Dame-de-la-Miséricorde Church in Ile-des-Chênes, MB. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.J COUTU CO.
