Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFELIKS LESZCZYNSKI On Friday, August 24, 2007, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away unexpectedly in Winnipeg, MB. He was 77 years of age. Remaining to cherish Feliks' memory is his wife Krystyna, son Kazik (Krystyna), son Stefan (Krystyna) and daughter Yola (Eric). Dziadzia will be sadly missed by his granddaughters in Canada, Cindy and Hannah, also in Poland by Damian, David, Adrian, Krystian and Kasia and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters. Born on January 24, 1930, in Budzislaw, Poland, Feliks immigrated to Canada in 1974 with his wife Krystyna, son Kazik and daughter Yola. Feliks and Krystyna have been happily married for 51 years. Feliks retired from Versatile Farm Equipment as a machinist in 1995 and enjoyed 12 retirement years. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage in Lac du Bonnet, MB, where he liked to fish and enjoy time with his family. This summer Feliks visited some of his favourite vacation spots, Manitou Springs Resort in Watrous, SK, and Radium Hot Springs, BC. He loved taking road trips out to Western Canada with his family to the Rocky Mountains and traveling to Poland. Those who knew Feliks were aware of his love for his home, gardening, mushroom and blueberry picking. He also made the most delicious sour pickles. The family would like to thank the Emergency Response Team and the Emergency Staff at the Health Sciences Centre. Special thanks to the spiritual advisors for providing their comfort and prayer with the family. Also thank-you goes out to all the family, friends and neighbours for their support during this difficult time. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 1 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., with an Oblate Father officiating.
