Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHERESE MARIE FRANCOISE GUIMOND (nee RAYMOND) On August 24, 2007, surrounded by family, Therese Françoise completed her Life Circle on her 92nd birthday at Fischer Place in 100 Mile House, BC. Born in Fisher Branch, MB; she resided in St. Georges, MB, from January 1953 and moved to 100 Mile House September 1995. She is survived by seven children, Anita (Albert) Vincent, Jeannine (Robert) Chevrefils, Dennis (Lucille), Ada Guenette, Arthur (Barbara), Marc (Suzanne) and Claudette (Shapour). She is further survived by her daughters-in-law, Rachel Guimond, Madeleine Boisjoli, and son-in-law Paul Papineau; and her siblings, Emile (Lennie) Raymond, Rene (Lorraine) Raymond, Hilda (Jack) Aston. She will also be remembered by her 31 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Alfred E. Guimond; her parents Narcisse and Marie Raymond; her son George; son-in-law Claude Guenette; great-granddaughter Morgan Fitzpatrick; brothers, Onesieme, George, Laurent, Alfred; and sisters, Tharsille, Aline, and Imelda. Her family's well being was always looked after with much love, devotion, affection, and perfection. Her most unique pastime was having her family and friends over. Mom was a great hostess. She was known to multiply the few fish and loaves that she had into a very satisfying meal. At the age of 21 she became a member of Les Dames de Sainte Anne in Fisher Branch, Manitoba, and continued with the same affiliation in 100 Mile House, BC, as a member of the Catholic Women's League. This earned her a lifelong membership. A few of her hobbies included embroidery, canning and documenting her travels. The family would like to extend special thanks to the caring and professional staff of Fischer Place, Dr. B. Nicolson, and Fr. Ken and Fr. Michael as associate. Prayers were held at St. Jude's Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2007. Funeral mass will be celebrated today, Saturday, September 1, at 10:00 a.m. with Father Michael Ngwuagwu at St. Jude's Catholic Church in 100 Mile House, BC. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Muscular Dystrophy, 7th Floor, 1401 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6H 1H6. 100 Mile Funeral Service is in care of arrangements. Ph. 250-395-3243.
