Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN SCHEIBEL Lillian Scheibel passed away peacefully August 27, 2007. Born in Winnipeg, November 28, 1913, she was predeceased by her three sisters, brothers Jack and Norman and parents Jim and Inez McLennan. She leaves behind her beloved sister-in-law Audrey, nephews Doug, Paul and Gordon, and their families, Sarah, Kate, Beatriz, Liv, Sonya, and Bev and Dave Girling. Lil worked for many happy years as receptionist at Princess Elizabeth Hospital in Winnipeg. In 1997, she moved to Victoria and became a resident at St. Peter's Abbeyfield House. Lil was a kind and generous spirit and was most fulfilled when caring for others. She was an avid card player, playing until a few days prior to her passing. Lil was much loved and will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Our thanks to Dr. R. Grimwood, Aberdeen Lansdowne nursing staff and St. Peter's Abbeyfield for their compassionate care. A celebration of her life will take place in Toronto in late October.
