Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE W. CECILE Peacefully on August 27, 2007 George W. Cecile passed away at the age of 70 years. George was predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Viola; his brothers, Robert, Adrian and Lorne; his cousins, Stella, Wilfred and Rolly. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Robert, Kevin (Debbie), Debbie (Rick); and his grandson Ryan. George is survived by his stepmother Rose; his brother Clayton (Agnes); his sister Connie (Bob); his sisters-in-law, Madeline and Marianne. Left to cherish his memory are his special cousins, Betty (Stan), Marj, Don (Shannon), Mickey and their children, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. George was born in Tecumseh, ON and spent his youth in Windsor until he joined the army in 1954. While in the army he spent time in New Brunswick, Montreal, Soest Germany, Winnipeg and finishing his career in Windsor, ON. After his retirement in 1982, George went to work for his sister Connie and his brother-in-law Bob at the Lock-it Mini Storage then Heaton Sanitation until he moved back to Winnipeg to be closer to his family, but his heart was always in Windsor, ON. Dad enjoyed golfing, reading and experimenting in the kitchen, making the best brownies and pecan pies. George was also a spectator of sports. He would channel surf every channel on the television until he found a sport to watch, even if it was wrestling so he and his grandson could debate about the main event. In keeping with George's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment was held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George's memory to the Canadian Liver Foundation, P.O.
