Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD WALZER December 16, 1916 - August 29, 2007 Peacefully, on August 29, 2007 Don passed away at the Golden West Centennial Lodge at the age of 90. Don was predeceased by his first wife Lillian in 1955. He will be lovingly missed by his wife Mary; daughter Judy Reed; son Bruce (Susan); grandchildren, Jason (Pam) and Shea. Don was born in Akron, Ohio. In 1957, Don married his second wife, Mary Corbett, and settled in Headingley, where they shared most of their 50 years together. Don worked for the Manitoba Telephone System for many years as an automotive technician. Don enjoyed dancing and served as a music-man for many seniors dances. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with an interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Winnipeg, Unit 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2 Ecclesiastes 3:4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.
