JOHN LOEWEN It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John Loewen on August 22, 2007, at the Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 78 years. He was predeceased by his wife Eleanor, and his son Gerald in 2007, brothers Bill and Frank, his father Frank and mother Sara. John will be sadly missed by his son Norman, granddaughters Cheryl, Michele and Jennifer, daughter-in-law Valerie, brothers Henry, Abe, Ed and Tony (Helen), nieces, nephews and many friends at Winpak. John belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion No. 1 on Sargent. His pastimes were playing bingo and drinking coffee with his friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Deer Lodge Centre for their care and compassion. A celebration of John's life will be held on Wednesday, September 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. No. 178 (Monte Casino), #10-1111 Logan Ave. at McPhillips. In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
