Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) HENKEWICH January 14, 1913 August 31, 2007 Peacefully, on Friday, August 31, 2007, Bill passed away at the East Gate Lodge in Beausejour. He leaves behind his long time friend, Kay; brothers, John (Dolly), Steve (Diane) and Harry (Betty); sisters, Ann (Pete) Manko, Mary Stanko and many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Metro and Haffia; brothers, Nick and Mike; sister Kay; brothers-in-law, John Stanko and Bill Stankowski. Bill was born on the family farm in Libau. He farmed most of his life, retiring to Beausejour in 1982. He was a longtime member of the Holy Trinity Church. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, September 4 (tonight) at 7:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Divine Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, September 5 at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Poplar Park, MB with The Very Rev. Fr. Henry Lakusta officiating. Interment will follow in the churchyard cemetery. VICHNAYA PAM'YAT Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
