Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTEVE MICHAEL HYRB October 11, 1946 September 2007 It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Steve at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach. To cherish his memory is his wife of 35 years Susan; daughters, Jennifer (Jason Levreault), Rachel (Allen Pritchard), Melissa (Patrick Thomas) and his beloved grandson Nicholas Pritchard. He also leaves his mother Nellie Piluk and stepfather Sam; his siblings, Olga Lalonde (Remi), John Hryb (Beryl) and Stella Hryb (Hughie Hynes); his nephews, Perry Dorosh (Ines Castaneda), Cory Hryb (Sherrie), niece Katrina Elias (Matthew) and their sons, Dylan and Michael; his father-in-law Ben Kamke and numerous in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Harry Hryb in 1959; his mother-in-law, Helen Kamke in 1995 and his brother-in-law, Richard Kamke in 2006. Steve was a gentle man with twinkling blue eyes and a mischievous smile who lived for his family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Even during his most difficult times Nicholas brought a smile to his face. His three daughters were a constant source of pride and joy. He taught them about the value of hard work and love of family. He enjoyed working in the yard and garden, feeding the birds, and walking or riding his bike around Niverville. He tinkered in the garage and became a great handyman around the house. His illness may have taken his strength and changed his daily routine but it never took away his cheerful disposition and his hope that he would return to his job at Southeastern Farm Equipment. A celebration of his life will be held at the Niverville United Church, 55 First St. North, Niverville on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Kathy Douglas officiating. Ash interment will follow the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to SEHA Bethesda CancerCare, Box 939; Steinbach, MB R5G 1A3 We will miss his presence in our lives but he will live in our hearts forever.
