KATHERINE KULCHYSKI (nee MANCHULENKO) In the early hours of September 1, 2007 Katherine passed away peacefully at the Selkirk General Hospital. Beloved mother of Janey (Larry) LeBlanc of Kamloops, BC and grandchildren, Tysen and Tanielle of Edmonton; son Len (Liz) Kulchyski and grandchildren, Tracey (Ryan) and Craig (Nicole); and great-granddaughter Chantel. She is also survived by niece Elinoranne Kartzmark (Jerry) and family; brother-in-law Roy Kartzmark; and sister-in-law Jerry March and family. She was predeceased by her parents, Anna and Dymetro Manchulenko; sister Ollie Kartzmark; brother George March and nephew Jordy March. Although mom faced many health challenges, she remained fiercely independent. She loved her family, never forgetting anyone on their birthdays or Christmas. She also enjoyed her annual trips to British Columbia. The family would like to thank the staff at the Betel Home, where mom resided prior to her passing and the wonderful nurses at the Selkirk General Hospital for their compassionate care. A private family service will take place with burial to follow at the Glen Eden Cemetery. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
