COLLEEN CECILIA PATRICIA BURNELL (nee HEISLER) On Monday, September 3, 2007, at her home, Colleen Burnell lost her battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents and infant son Michael, Colleen leaves to mourn, her three babies Bindee, Chooee and Belle; her husband of 25 years, eight months and three days, Randy Burnell; her son Ronald (Tracy Schmidt) and granddaughters Jordan and Mikayla; her daughter Leanne (Larry Klyne) and granddaughters Taylor and Bailey, all of Portage. Colleen also leaves her sister Darla of Winnipeg and Keekee; brothers Warren and Wayne of Portage la Prairie, as well as nieces Theresa and Lisa, great-nephew Kyle and great-niece Jovi, all of Winnipeg. Colleen's many friends are also left to mourn her passing, both from Portage and Winnipeg, along with many other friends and family from far and wide. At Colleen's request there will be no formal service and friends are asked, if they wish, to stop by Colleen and Randy's home to share some memories at their leisure In lieu of flowers friends are asked to make donations to Colleens favourite charity - PAWS (Portage Animal Welfare Society), Box 1426, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 3N9.
