BERNICE MARIE ABUDA (FOLMES) It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Bernice Marie Abuda on September 2, 2007 at the Arborg Hospital. Bernice was predeceased by her son Richard. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 59 years Peter; also her son Ronald and wife Cynthia; grandchildren Jacqueline Michelle and Michael Peter; her daughter-in-law Joyce; grandchildren Holly Oryshia, Orestes Tremayne and Trevor Shawn. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews as well by the rest of her family, friends and neighbours. Bernice was born on January 19, 1929 in the R.M. of Bifrost. She married Peter on November 21, 1948 where they farmed together until her passing. She enjoyed working on her garden growing anything she could grow. She also had many other hobbies and crafts to pass the time. She also enjoyed baking and cooking for many of her relatives and friends who came over to visit. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 8 at 10:30 a.m. at the Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel. Rev. Father Harry Chuckry will officiate with interment to follow at Silver Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
