THERESA ROSE HERNDON Peacefully on August 26, 2007, Theresa Rose Herndon (Broesky), our Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, passed away in the Moosomin Union Hospital Saskatchewan at the age of 86 years. Theresa was born on May 18, 1921, in Gretna, Manitoba, to Jacob and Aganetha Broesky. She was one of 16 children. Theresa resided in Winnipeg, Manitoba, until ill health became an issue and she moved to Moosomin to be closer to family members. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband Victor; two grandsons Todd and Paul Snelgrove; and 13 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Terry (Sharon), granddaughters Renee (Rick) Martin and great-grandsons Aaron and Kyle Martin, Leslee (Fiance Frank) Herndon; by her daughter Victoria (Vaughn) Snelgrove, granddaughter Kathryn (David) Kerr, great-grandchildren Stephanie and William; by her two sisters Agathe Nichol and Florence Burh; sister-in-law Marie Broesky; brother-in-law Eric Leuzinger and by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A service of celebration for Theresa was held at the Trinity Lutheran Church on August 30, 2007. Inurnment will take place at a future date. The family wishes to thank Dr. Plewes and the compassionate caring nursing staff at the Moosomin Union Hospital. Mom - may your memory be eternal.
