PETER SLUSARCHUK April 13, 1924 - September 1, 2007 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Peter at Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 83 years. He will be missed by his wife Theresa Marie, his brother Bill of Winnipeg, half-sister Anne Kis of Steinbach, two stepsisters Mary Kolynchuk and Helen Kolynchuk, numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Theodore Slusarchuk and Anne Meleshko, two brothers Paul and John Slusarchuk. He was born in Melfort, SK, lived in Stuartburn, MB; then moved to Trentham, MB. Peter is a veteran of the Second World War. The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 6 at 1:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr, Steinbach with interment at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Sarto. The family would like to thank the Deer Lodge hospital nursing staff for their kind and loving care.
