EILEEN SMERCHANSKI June 19, 1928 - September 4, 2007 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mom with her family at her side on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the age of 79, at home. Eileen was born and raised in Arnes, MB, the oldest of seven siblings. At a young age she met and married William and they raised five children. Left to mourn are her husband William, and children, Shirley (Glenn), Gail (Nick), Randy (Jennifer), Sandra and Perry. She also leaves to cherish her memory seven grandchildren, Cameron, Andrew, Daniel, David, Kayla, Jessica and Lee. Besides her family, mom loved traditional cooking, crochet, Bingo and baseball. Mom will always be remembered for her generous, unselfish nature and wonderful wry sense of humour. Mom was much loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. PEACE ETERNAL MOM. Donations to Winnipeg Humane Society.
