ANTOINE (TONY) JOSEPH JEAN VINCENT Suddenly on September 4, 2007, Tony Vincent, aged 47 years, of St. Georges, MB, passed away. Tony leaves to mourn his loving wife, Verna; his daughters, whom he loved very dearly, Tara (Trevor) Christianson, Kayla-Marie, Elizabeth (busy-bee), and his grandson Morley (little man). He also leaves his mother Florette, brothers, Omer (Lucille) Vincent and Melvin (Annette) Vincent; sister Della (Keith) Clark, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father Sylvio. Tony was born in Pine Falls, MB on June 4, 1960 and grew up in St. George's, MB. Over the years he had many jobs always pertaining either to welding or his favourite hobby, mechanics. In 1988 he met and married the love of his life, Verna (nee Joseph). He worked at the Pine Falls Paper Co. during the day and by night was a mechanic, but always made time for his family and friends. A big heartfelt thanks to Dr. M. Steinbart and to John Hawranick, whom we are so grateful that he became a friend of the family, then part of our family. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 8 at 3:00 p.m. in the Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church in Powerview, MB with Fr. James Gray officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Tony will be sadly missed and forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
