PIERRE PAQUIN Suddenly, on Wednesday, September 4, 2007, Pierre Paquin passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 77. Pierre was predeceased by his parents, Wilfrid and Georgina (Savoie) Paquin; his brothers, Adélard, Paul, Félix, and Marcel; sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Thérèse, and brother-in-law James Morgan. Left to mourn are his sister Doris Morgan, nephews, Ronald (Clara) Paquin, Raymond (Jeanne Turcotte) Paquin, Brian Morgan; nieces, Diane (Brian) Paquin-Hogberg, Sandra (Chris) Colp and his grand-nieces and nephews. Pierre was born and raised in St. Boniface, and spent all his life in Winnipeg. He took great joy in following the Blue Bombers over the years, and was also an avid hockey and baseball fan. Pierre resided for the last several years at Taché Centre. While he was able, he especially enjoyed occasional trips to baseball and football games. Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, September 11 at 1:00 p.m. in the Holy Cross Church, 252 Dubuc St. Interment will follow at a later date. The family wishes to express much gratitude to the staff at 4ABC for the exceptional care, patience and kindness shown toward Pierre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Taché Centre, 185 rue Despins, Winnipeg, MB, R2H 2B3 or the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society, 3 - 1000 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 9Z9.
