Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT DANIEL SANDULAK March 1, 1947 - September 2, 2007 After a year long battle with cancer, Albert passed away on the morning of Sunday, September 2, 2007 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 60 years. Remaining to forever cherish Albert's memory are Judi, his devoted wife of forty years of marriage; three loving children Cindy (Alan), Cori (Robb) and Rick (Stacey); mother Mary Grabowski; and his brothers and sisters. He will be especially missed by his eight adoring grandchildren, Hayley, Wil, Sam, Marlea, Cole, Joe, Ryan and Avari; as well as a great many family members and friends who will miss him dearly. As a man of few words, Albert earned the respect of all who knew him, his actions speaking louder than words. Albert took pride in everything he did. This was apparent in his home, his garden and in the many projects he worked on for himself, his kids and his friends. He was a mechanic, a farmer, a trusted advisor and a jack of all trades. He never stopped thinking about ways to make things better with one of his inventions or designs. Albert loved his job at Air Canada where he was awarded the President's Award for not missing a day of work in over 20 years. His creativity also found release in the thousands of jokes he had committed to memory, and in the pranks he pulled on the guys at work. If you weren't careful around Albert you would end up with a clever new nickname. A big guy with an even bigger heart, Albert would give you the work shirt off of his back. He had great big hands that would bend steel one minute and cradle one of his grandchildren the next. Albert was a down to earth guy who lived for the simple pleasures in life. He loved working in his yard and in his garage with his kids and grandkids running around where he could give everyone constant reminders to be careful. Everyone and everything was safe under Grandpa's watchful eyes. Having Albert around made life easy; Getting over the loss will be hard. But in a way I guess he helped prepare us for that too. In compliance with the family's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held and a private family service will take place at a later date.
