DORA (DOMKA) CHOBOTAR August 25, 1910 - September 5, 2007 Peacefully, on Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at the Vita Personal Care Home, Dora Chobotar passed away at the age of 97 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her five sons and their families: Alex and Darlene of Atikokan, John and Carole of Teulon, Martin and Nell of Vita, Walter and Fran of Winnipeg, Bill and Janet of Woodridge; her son-in-law Paul Sokoliuk of Winnipeg; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1989; her daughter Mary in 2007; her parents Wasyl and Elena Andrusiak; her brothers and sisters: Mardary, Nick, Mike, Mary Bulat, John, George, and Rosie Werestiuk. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 9 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the Vita Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Elias Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Sirko with internment in the church cemetery.
