EILEEN MARIE WILD (nee Dartnell) It is with great sadness that the family announces the loss of their mother, sister, grandmother and aunt, Eileen Wild on August 30, 2007 at the age of 80 years. Eileen was predeceased by her husband André in 2003. She is survived by daughters Brynne (Maurice), Adaire (Craig) and son Dana (Helen); grandchildren Cameron, Andrew, Connor and Vanessa; brother Thomas (Christine), niece Susan (Wayne) and nephew Michael. Eileen was born in Winnipeg, on December 17, 1926. She graduated from Daniel McIntyre High School, then went on to work at the Winnipeg Red Cross. Eileen met André, the love of her life, at the Winnipeg Roller Rink. They were married in May 1949 and had three children. Summers were spent at the family cottage at Winnipeg Beach. Eileen was known for her culinary skills and love of entertaining, family and friends. She loved music, reading, had a Green Thumb and enjoyed doing various crafts. She was an avid roller skater and loved to dance. The family moved to Montreal, when André was relocated due to his job with Air Canada. The family returned home to Winnipeg, upon André's retirement. Not long after André passed away, Eileen moved into Lions Manor. A Private Family Service was held on September 4, 2007, at Glen Eden Funeral Home.
