Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA ZUBRISKI (nee LISOWICK) 1923 - 2007 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and Baba, Olga Zubriski on September 7, 2007. Olga leaves to mourn her passing her children and grandchildren, Grace (Justin, Cristin, Jordan and Dina) Chudyk, Laurence (Shirley, Nicole) Zubriski, Eugene (MaryAnn, Tyler, Brittany, Brendan) Zubriski, Bernice (Roy, Meaghan, Cody, Morghan) Okaluk, Marcel (Judy, Stephanie, Bryce) Zubriski. Sisters, sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews will also mourn her passing. Olga will also be missed by her great-grandchildren, Jack and Nolan (Justin and Cristin) Chudyk. Olga was predeceased by her husband Joseph; son Norman and son-in-law Steve Chudyk. Olga spent her life working with Joseph on their farm in Vidir for the majority of her life then retired to the Sunrise Lodge in Arborg where they made numerous friendships. Olga also sang in the choir along side Joseph at the Arborg Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church which they were devoted and active members. Baba's joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They'll miss their perogy and baking times that they shared. The flyswatter, not so much. We'll miss you Baba, say hi to Gee Gee. We would like to express our gratitude to Brenda Yarema, the other caregivers for their compassion and help she received and the Drs. and nurses at the Arborg District Health Centre for their care. God had sent us an angel when we needed her most. Brittany thank you for the love, compassion and friendship you had given Baba, for you meant the world to her. Olga is to be laid to rest by her grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Tyler, Brendan, Bryce and Morghan. Honorary pallbearers will be Cristin, Dina, Nicole, Meaghan, Cody, Brittany and Stephanie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church, Box 895, Arborg, MB R0C 0A0. Prayers are to be said on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held at the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church, Arborg, MB on Wednesday, September 12 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Hayek Cemetery, Virdir, MB Rev. Father Peter Chorney will officiate. VICHNAYA PAMYAT Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
