THERESA (TERRY) HELEN SANSOM January 28, 1957 to September 5, 2007 Suddenly on September 5, 2007, Theresa (Terry) Helen Sansom, age 50, of Winnipeg, succumbed to the challenges of Juvenile Diabetes. She is predeceased by her beloved fiancé, Tuure Ojala (1997), her parents, Gordon (1981) and Isabel (1991) Sansom, and a cousin, Brad Lowe (1996). Terry leaves behind her sister, Jannelle (Jake) Wiens; brother Thomas Sansom of Vancouver; brother Douglas Sansom of Birtle, nephews, Matt and Jim Martin and Gordon Sansom; one niece, Stephanie Sansom; her aunt and uncle, Dorothy and Corwin Lowe of Appleton, WI, good friends,her fiancé's sister, Siiri (Reino) Vesa of Lac du Bonnet, Barb Rudy, Lorraine Kreitz, and Robert (Bob) Cloutier. Terry worked for the federal government for 18 years until disabled by a car accident in 1994. While restricted to a wheelchair, she grasped life, living each day to the fullest. She enjoyed the freedom and independence her motorized scooter provided. Terry was a charitable, generous woman who will be missed by all she touched in her short life. To quote one of her closest friends, She was a beam of light - an angel. Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 12, at 10:00 a.m. at Wheeler's Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue. so she will be laid to rest beside her beloved fiancé, Friend and family are welcome to pay their respects on Tuesday, September 11, at 7:00 p.m. In the Wheeler Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers will be Matt and Jim Martin, Jake Wiens, Bob Cloutier, Al Pitch, and Barb Rudy.
