Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA LARSON Anna passed away peacefully on September 8, 2007 at the Betel Home in Selkirk, MB. She was born in Winnipeg, MB on July 30, 1905, daughter of Agnes and Jens Olson, and grew up in Teulon, MB. She married Lars Larson in 1926 and moved to Atikokan, ON where she lived until 1973, at which point she moved to Winnipeg and resided there until moving to the Betel Home in Selkirk in 2005. Anna will be remembered for her great cooking and wonderful crocheting. She passed along many of these cherished items to her grandchildren and children. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Lars in 1969; younger brothers, Ole, Arling, Bert and Jim; son John in 1998 and daughter-in-law Marion Larson in 2006. She is lovingly remembered by sons, Lawrence (Carol) of Calgary, Bill (Irene) of North Vancouver; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at the Betel Home where she received excellent care over the past year. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday September 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the John Black United Church, 898 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg with Rev. Jim Hatherly officiating. Reception to follow in the church basement. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
