PETER PHILLIPS Peter Phillips, born July 15, 1915, passed away peacefully at Deer Lodge Centre on Sunday, September 9, 2007, at the age of 92 after a long struggle with colon cancer. Pop was predeceased by his wife Freda in 1992, as well as his brothers Jack, Stan and Bill and his parents Michael and Teckla. Pop is survived by sons Peter in Willowdale, ON, Christopher in White Rock, BC, and Henry in Victoria, BC. Pop was an army fusilier in The Second World War, and will be interred in a private family ceremony at Brookside Cemetery military section in mid-November 2007, to lie alongside his wife Freda and brother Stan. The Phillips family thanks the staff at Deer Lodge Centre, Central Park Lodge and St. Andrews Place who, in turn, cared for Pop during his declining years.
