HENRY MARCEL ROUSSEAU With sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and friend on Friday September 7, 2007. Henry was a true Manitoban, born in St. Boniface on November 29, 1934; he attended Holy Cross, King Edward and St. Paul's. He dedicated his career to 43 years service to CPR at the Weston Shops; however, the real achievements in his life are measured with his 54-year marriage to Nancy, resulting in four successful children, Chris (Judy), David, Danny (Jacqui and daughter Hali) and Laura (Gary), and grandchildren, Skye, Lyle, Ryan, Cella, Hayden and Annika. He is also survived by his brothers, Norman, Fred (Norma), and sister Eva as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by his parents, Hermas and Rena. Henry enjoyed interacting with his neighbours. He loved family outings with his kids, and especially the grandchildren's games and performances. He was proud of them all!!. His love of history took him traveling and sparked an interest in the family archives. Henry always had an open door policy in his home. All were welcome and all were well fed. His lesson to his family and friends was never more evident with his demonstration of courage, and value of Faith at the end...He walked the walk!!. Special thanks to the staff from 6D at the Health Sciences Centre and special thanks to Rev. Msgr. M. Comeault. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 12, 11:00 a.m. located at Blessed John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Avenue (Assiniboine Christian Center).
