BRENDA WYNNE HEINTZ (nee BECKEL) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Wynne Heintz (nee Beckel) on Friday, September 7, 2007, at the age of 52. Predeceasing Brenda was her father Ross Beckel, her mother June Beckel, and her mother-in-law Rae Heintz. She leaves behind to mourn, her loving husband and best friend, Brian Heintz, her beloved children Mitchell and Kelley, her adored dog Molly, as well as brothers Jim (Frances), Bill (Iryna), Rob (Eleanor), and sister Marilyn Hayden. Brenda was devoted to her church, Grey Street United, where she taught Sunday school among other things. Always thinking of others, Brenda gave avidly to the Siloam Mission, the Humane Society, the Kidney Foundation, and the Canadian Diabetes Associations, only a few among the many. Brenda loved to spend time with her family and friends, all of whom she loved dearly. Sitting on the dock at Moose Lake with a good book, vacations in the camper trailer, and cooking were among her many passions. Brenda's family would like to thank the staff of St. Boniface Hospital's intensive care unit, for their wonderful care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation to The Kidney Foundation, 730 Taylor Avenue, R3M 2K8, or The Humane Society, 5 Kent Street, R2L 1X3. Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 14, at 3:30 p.m., at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Highway, R2G 1P4, (204) 338-0331.
