ADAMS March 25, 1915 - September 10, 2007 With his beloved family by his side, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Dad was predeceased by his wife Erna, June 6, 1992 and his son Ed, July 16, 2001. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Ron (Barb); daughters, Darlene (Ted) and Shirley; foster parents Shirley and Armand, and daughter-in-law Janet of North Vancouver, BC. He is also survived by his sisters, Eleanor, Anne and Della; one brother Oscar, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends. After serving his country in the Armed Forces he worked at Oglivie Flour Mill until he retired in 1979. Besides devoting his life to his family, he was very active with Calvary Temple until his passing. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Buntain Chapel, 400 Hargrave, with viewing one half hour prior. A reception at the Chapel and interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff at Health Sciences Centre and especially to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital, and also to Pastor Bruce Martin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Temple Camp, 400 Hargrave St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 3A8. Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St., in care of arrangements, 774-7474.
