STANLEY SIDNEY DORIE On Monday September 10, 2007 Stanley Sidney Dorie at the Pine Falls Hospital went into the arms of Jesus with his loving family by his side. Left to mourn his passing are his sons, Leslie (Crystal), Harold (Florence), Stanley Jr., Michael (Andrea). His daughters Nancy (Richard Bruyere), Evelyn Letander and Elsie Dorie. He leaves his brother John Dorie, sisters, Alice Mann, Linda Dorie and brother-in-law Wallace Abraham, 34 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren, many nieces nephews cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Sidney and Christina Dorie, sisters Margaret Kent, Virginia Abraham, Helen Adams and Mary Dorie and foster brother William Bird. Also a great-granddaughter Farrah Courchene. His Pallbearers will be Nathan Dorie, Tony Dorie, Stanley Dorie Jr., Leslie Dorie Jr., David Dorie, Nelson Bunn, Joshua Letander and Joey Bird. Honorary Pallbearers Nicolas Stranger, Vincent Dorie, Steven Dorie, Waylon Dorie, Kelsey Dorie, Trinity Dorie and Cross Bearer Jordan Dorie. The family would like to say a special Thank you to Virginia, Homemaker and homecare staff, Dr. J. Bonafe and nurses and staff at the Pine Falls Hospital. God bless you all. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday September 13, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Christ Church, Sagkeeng First Nations (Fort Alexander MB) with Rev. Richard Bruyere and Rev. Arch Deacon Larry Beardy officiating. A wake has begun in the parish hall Monday night at 8:00 pm. Interment will follow in the parish Cemetery.
