DONALD GORDON CATHRO Peacefully, surrounded by his family, Don passed away on September 11, 2007 at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 54 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Don was predeceased by his father, David (1978) and sister, Diane (1994). Don will be remembered by his daughters Leah and Camille and granddaughter Harley. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Dorothy; his sister Kathy Sangster; brothers David Glen (Val), Doug (Lori), Darren, Dan and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was born in Winnipeg on December 8, 1952. He was well respected within the garment industry and was employed at JMJ Fashion for many years until his illness. Special thanks to all the wonderful staff at 3E Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion. Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster. The family will lay Don to rest on Saturday, September 15 in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his four brothers, nephew Cameron DeJong and Mike MacIver.
