GWENDOLINE NELL MCLENNAN Gwen was born in Winnipeg, the daughter of the late Donald (Dan) and Isabel Flett. She was also predeceased by her husband Robert (Bert) McLennan (1943); her son Bruce McLennan (1995); her sister Helen Annett (1988) and sister Marguerite Speirs (2006). She was employed by Canadian Pacific Railway from 1943 until 1956 when she left to reside in Calgary until 1963 when she returned to Winnipeg and was employed by George N. Jackson Ltd. Until retiring in 1978. Gwen is survived by her grandsons Morgan (Norine) McLennan and his sons Forrest and Durell and Norine's children Holly, Roy and Rob, all of Hudson's Hope BC; Fraser (Amy) McLennan and their children Nicole and Malcolm of Winnipeg; nieces Sydney (John) Jorgensen and their family of Calgary; Dana (Michael) Harvey of Honduras; nephews Gregg Speirs of Calgary; David (Ronda) and their family of Nepean, ON and Kenneth (Marija) Annett of Burnaby, BC. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 18 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing one hour prior to the service in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
