Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryETHEL FRASER (WATKINS) On September 15, 2007, we lost our loving wife, mother and grandmother, Ethel. Ethel leaves her loving husband of 62 years, Harold, as well as her sister Frances Mustard, sister-in-law Mona McLachlan (Malcolm), daughter Ramona Durrant (Maurice), her sons, Gregory (Shirley), Kerry (Donna) and Gordon (Kim), as well as seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Ethel was predeceased last year by her daughter, Arlene Ferguson (Jack). Ethel was a life long resident of Transcona, an avid curler and active member of the Catholic Women's League. She enjoyed participating in her Renew Group. Ethel was proud of all her family and both interested and active in her children's and grandchildren's lives. Summers with her family at the cottage at Redditt, Ontario were a joy for Mom and something we all looked forward to. Her wit, humour and culinary talents always guaranteed the happiest of times. Ethel will be forever missed by all who knew her. Services will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 505 Brewster St., Transcona on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Ormiston and the staff of Concordia Hospital, who went above and beyond the call of duty to help make Ethel's final days comfortable. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba, 302-171 Donald Street, Winnipeg MB R3C 1M4. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
