PATRICIA RHEUBOTTOM On Thursday, September 13, 2007, Pat passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital. Pat leaves to mourn her children, Valerie (Vince), Gregory, Wayne, Jocelyn, Sherri, and Sean; grandchildren, Anne-Marie, Melinda, Nicolas and Paul; great-grandchildren, Emily and Zachary, sisters-in-law Joyce, Dorothy and brother-in-law Chuck, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her devoted dog Nikki. Pat was predeceased by her beloved husband Phil (2006); sons, Terry and Jim, and infant daughter Patricia; son-in-law Bev, and niece Serena; her parents, sister, and brother. Pat had a long and fulfilling career helping people in need. She worked as a counselor at Klinic, and Marymound School and later as a supervisor at Osborne House. Pat made many friends during her career and was deeply respected by her colleagues and clients. Her love for her work and her youthfulness and energy enabled her to work to the age of 75. In 2003, Pat and Phil retired to Sandy Hook where they enjoyed their leisure time and entertaining friends and family. Pat was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was selfless and will always be remembered for her kind heart and concern for others, even in her final days. The family would like to thank the staff at Gimli Hospital, Riverview Health Centre and St. Boniface Hospital who cared for our mother during this difficult time. Thanks too to all those who sent cards and visited, and to Lorena for being Mum's special nurse , and to Darlene and Alison for their support. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation Manitoba, or Osborne House would be appreciated. There will be a memorial service on Wednesday September 19, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Westwood Community Church, 401 Westwood Drive, Winnipeg. Love you Mum, forever and ever.
