DOROTHY BYRON With sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Dorothy (nee Moorhouse) on Monday, September 3, 2007, at Red River Place in Selkirk, MB, at the age of 91. Dorothy is survived by four children, Stefan (Joyce) of Oak Point, MB, Dorothy (also known as Judy) (Ed) of Warren, MB, Hellen (also known as Punch) of Salmon Arm, BC, and Fred (Lois) of Lac du Bonnet, MB; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and friends. Dorothy was born on April 21, 1916, in Penniston, England. She came to Canada at the age of 18. She married Fred on December 14, 1935. They resided in Oak Point all their married life. Dorothy was predeceased by husband Fred in July 1992; her parents, two sisters and eight brothers. At Dorothy's request cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2007. A celebration of her life will be held on September 23, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at the Oak Point Hall. All are welcome to join the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
