MARY KOHUT It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our sister and aunt, Mary, on Sunday, September 16, 2007. Mary was born on December 4, 1919 in Stuartburn, MB and lived in the area until 1941. Mary moved to Toronto at that time and worked in the war effort until 1945. While in Toronto, she returned to school to study Business Administration. Mary moved to Los Angeles where she was employed in the banking field until her retirement. In 1992, Mary relocated to Grand Forks, North Dakota to be closer to her family in Winnipeg. She was an active member of the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Grand Forks and enjoyed doing volunteer work in the local Seniors home. Left to cherish her memory are three sisters, Anne, Joyce and Adele; four brothers, Walter (Olga), Bill (Marge), Orest (Ann), Gene (Magda); sister-in-law Annette; brother-in-law Merv; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Lena; sisters, Sophie and Helen; brothers, Maurice, Larry and Jerry. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 20 at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
