WIEBE STOFFEL WIERDA Suddenly, on Saturday, September 15 2007, at the age of 74, our father Wiebe Stoffel Wierda passed away. He was predeceased by his loving wife Maude in August 1990. He was also predeceased by his parents, a brother and a sister. He leaves to mourn his passing, three daughters, Elizabeth Wierda (John Kerr), Selkirk, Rena Therriern (Mark) Laurier, MB and Tracey McLeod (Brian) Selkirk. Also left to mourn his passing are his five grandchildren, Mark Wierda (Rachel), Jordan and Nicole McLeod, and Amy and Samantha Kerr, all of Selkirk. Also his pride and joy, his great-grandson Daimen Wierda. He also leaves two brothers and sisters in the Netherlands, four sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews both here in Canada and the Netherlands. Weibe will be missed dearly by his long time good friends, the Poncsaks, where he resided for many years. Sabrina, Rob, and their three children Bob, Jarrod, and Cody shared many special moments and happy times over the years. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 20 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, Manitoba.
