CONSTANCE JANE MCCULLOCH 1922 - 2007 My wonderful wife Connie died peacefully in Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, on September 14, 2007. She had been battling cancer for two years, and we were very optimistic. An embolism, and its consequences, intervened, and we lost her. Until 1946, Winnipeggers knew her as Conjane, the eldest daughter of Archie and Constance Brown. Her sisters were Eleanore (later Mrs. J. A. Hillman), and Barbara (later Mrs. G. D. Wood). Many of the close friendships she shared with you at that time have been maintained through the years. Connie leaves her nieces, Jane Hillman of Ottawa and Deb Wood of Victoria; her nephews, Jim Hillman of Montreal, Duncan Wood of North Vancouver, and Drew Wood of Beijing; her brother-in-law George D. Wood of Campbell River. Her immediate family in North Vancouver are sons, Duncan and Alan, their wives, Susan and Daphne; four grandchildren, Tyler and Jaime, Georgia and Doshiell; and I, her husband of 61 years. By her wishes there will be no service. Cremation will be followed by inurnment in First Memorial Gardens, North Vancouver. Jim McCulloch
