MARIE-ANNE BAZINET Peacefully on September 18, 2007, surrounded by her children, our loving mother Marie-Anne Emma Anna Bazinet passed away. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ron (Evelyn), Claude (Fernando), Jo-Anne (Mervin) and Monique (Kerry), grandchildren, Nikki (Shane), Johnny (Melissa), Nathan, Braydon and Miriam, her siblings, Denise, Henri (Annette), Simone, Roland (Raymonde), René (Patricia) and Emile, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Marie-Ange Bazinet, infant son Norman and infant siblings, Jean and Jeanne. Mom was born in St. Boniface on February 16, 1934 where she enjoyed her childhood and youth. She entered into adulthood choosing independence over further education. Mom was a diligent and meticulous worker who was proud of her accomplishments. She loved to laugh and when she did, it was infectious. Mom spoke with love and affection of her parents and the loving home and fond memories that was provided for her and her siblings. She loved her children and grandchildren very much and told them so whenever she could. Mom's illness was difficult on her but she walked through it with determination and perseverance for a better life. We love you Mom! You will be greatly missed! A special thank you to the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Centre for their care and kindness over the past three years. We also offer a special thanks to our Uncle René for his love and gentle presence during Mom's last week with us. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mom's life will be held Saturday, September 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. Flowers gratefully declined.
