Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCARL JOHN SUTHERLAND Suddenly on Monday, September 17, 2007, Carl John Sutherland aged 46 years of Lake Manitoba First Nation, MB, left us to be with his Creator and to be with his parents. John was born April 7, 1961 in Eriksdale, MB. He worked in Winnipeg for many years at odd jobs. He enjoyed playing bingo and visiting family and friends, and playing with his grandchildren. John leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Georgina, his stepchildren, Sonia, Anita (Michael), Andrew (Rochelle), and George (Leah); seven grandchildren Tommy, Thamara, Noland, Luke, Darrion, Angel and Aaron, also many other grandchildren; his brothers, Lawrence (friend Barbara), Milton (Jo), his sisters, Rose (Clement), Wendy (Alfred), Sandra (Louie), Vivian (John), Roxie and Cindy (Brian). He also leaves to mourn brothers-in-law, Marvin (Garda) Koch, John Roulette (friend Mary), Norman Roulette, John Swampy and family, also Kevin Walsh (good friend). He was predeceased by his stepdaughter Kathleen, his mom and dad, Eileen and Edwin Sutherland, his grandparents, George and Rebecca Sutherland and John and Maria Baptiste. Wake services will be held on Thursday, September 20 and Friday, September 21, 2007 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Cindy Swan's residence on Lake Manitoba First Nation. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lake Manitoba School Gymnasium with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Interment to follow in the Lake Manitoba Reserve Cemetery. Pallbearers will be A.J. Choken, Kevin Walsh, Roy Mousseau, Chief Barry Swan, Isaac Baptiste and Sheldon Maytwayashing.
