Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANIE APPLEYARD (nee GOODWILLIE) Jeanie Appleyard was born on May 12, 1918 in Langford Municipality near Neepawa, Manitoba to Charles and Magdelina Goodwillie and passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Pioneer Village in Regina, Saskatchewan. Jeanie served in the Naval Department in Halifax during the Second World War and on returning to Winnipeg became a valuable employee of the CPR Telegraphs. In 1953, Jeanie married William Bill Appleyard and was a homemaker and mother to Wayne and Elaine. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, John (Mary) and George. Jeanie is survived by her husband Bill; children, Wayne (Rebeca) and Elaine (Bob) Ainslie; granddaughters, Laura-Lynn, Shannon and Jennifer and sister-in-law Charlotte; as well as nieces, nephews and their families. A memorial service will be held at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3720 Hill Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301, 2550 - 13 Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.
