DOREEN MAY DICK (nee WILKINSON) Doreen passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg on September 18, 2007 surrounded by love, with her family after a very courageous battle with ALS. She will be forever missed and her memory cherished by her husband, Robert; children, Douglas (Bev) and Nancy (Ben); grandchildren, Madison, Aidan, and Riley; from Quebec, her brother, Ken; sisters, Miriam and Barbara; and her mother, Thelma; from Alberta, her mother-in-law, Elly. She is in our hearts today and always. Her strength of character, kindness, love of life and never ending smile will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her and our lives will never be the same without her. A memorial service for Doreen will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2007 at Pinawa Lutheran Church, Pinawa, Manitoba, Rev. Rob Murray officiating. The family would like to extend a heartwarming thanks to the staff of 2 East at Riverview Health Centre for the care they gave Doreen during her stay there. Thanks also to all of the many friends and volunteers who have supported Doreen during her fight with ALS.
