MARGARET (PEGGY) WATKINS 1913 - 2007 Margaret 'Peggy' Watkins passed away peacefully at Golden West Lodge on Wednesday, September l9, 2007. Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Frank Bunny' Watkins in 1990 as well as her good friend and companion, Tony Capri, in 2006, and her two brothers, George and Fraser Coull. She leaves to mourn her daughters, Judy (Gord) Hardiman and Claudia (Raymond) Gavery and her grandchildren, Brad (Jackie) Sheldon, Cindy (Brian) Wood, Justin, Chad and Brock (Mackenzie) Gavery. She also had a very special great-granddaughter Ashley Wood. Peggy was born in Winnipeg on October 25, 1913 and moved to Bisset, Manitoba where she married Bunny. They moved back to Winnipeg and raised their two daughters in Fort Rouge. She worked at the Hudson's Bay Company for many years as a personal shopper. Peggy was the straight 'man' for all of Bunny's jokes. She always had a smile on her face and, in her sweet, quiet way, truly was the glue that bound the family. She was everyone's 'Peg of My Heart'. She will be missed but never forgotten by all who knew her. A special thanks to the staff of Golden West Lodge for taking excellent care of Peggy. Services will take place at Thomson's Funeral Chapel at 669 Broadway at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2007.
